Our Commitment to Inclusive Education

Empowering and Supporting
Diverse Learners

Our inclusive approach values the diverse contributions of all students, recognising and celebrating their unique strengths and perspectives.

All staff are committed to early identification, enabling them to provide the necessary support and challenges for steady progress in learning. Using the graduated approach, we aim to foster a sense of belonging where every student feels respected, supported, and empowered to succeed both academically and personally.

Through a culture of inclusivity, we strive to create an environment where all students can thrive, grow, and make a positive impact within the school community.

Gifted, Talented and More Able

At Pristine, we support Gifted, Talented, and More Able students, helping them reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.

Students are identified through assessments, academic performance, and teacher observations of traits like creativity, critical thinking, and leadership. Once identified, they receive tailored challenges and inspiring opportunities both in and outside the classroom.

Care and Support

The Pastoral and Wellbeing team plays a key role in promoting student wellbeing.

They work closely with each child to understand their individual needs, providing emotional guidance, mentoring, and support to help them feel safe, valued, and confident. Through regular check-ins and tailored interventions, the pastoral team ensures that every student is supported in their personal and social development.

Based on each student’s individual needs and the level of support required, they may receive in-class support, one-on-one sessions, or, where necessary, full-time learning support. The Inclusion Team works collaboratively to design and implement personalised learning programmes or Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure every student has access to meaningful and equitable learning experiences. We actively partner with families and, when appropriate, external specialists to provide a holistic and well-rounded support system for each learner.

Communication

Clear, honest, and timely communication is vital to student success.

Collaboration among staff, parents, and specialists supports student progress, especially for those with additional academic, developmental, or behavioural needs.

Positive relationships ensure information is shared sensitively and effectively within the school system.
